* Declaration of commitment to formal membership.
* Assume $180.00 or more annual financial commitment.
(May be waived upon written request.)
* May borrow books, magazines and videos from BLS library.

* Participation of three months sitting with BLS and attendance at 50 percent of sangha events.
Informal Member:
* Declaration of commitment to informal membership.
* Assume financial commitment of choosing.
* May borrow books, magazines and videos from BLS library.
* Non-voting member.
* May attend general meetings.
These membership categories were designed to be flexible enough to allow you to choose your own level of commitment based upon your own assessment of your ability and willingness to serve.
After reviewing the membership information, please pick up a Membership Declaration Form in the Zendo, put it in an envelope and deposit it in the Dana basket.

Dana (giving) is an open door to realization by any name in any practice. Dana is the hallmark of human maturity. Its virtue is absorbed, renewed and passed on to nurture all being.
Note: BLS is currently seeking IRS non-profit tax status. Donations to BLS will be tax deductible when we achieve official 501c3 (non-profit corporation) tax status.
